The mission of the Incubator for Legal Practice and Innovation (ILPI) is to:

equip entrepreneurial lawyers with practical and substantive business and legal training
launch innovative, socially-conscious, and financially sustainable law practices
address the access to justice gap

ILPI is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit.

Innovative

Participating attorneys will be encouraged to use innovative technology and creative legal practices

Socially-Conscious

Participating attorneys will be expected to serve modest-means clients. This is defined as clients whose household income is between 125% and 400% of the federal poverty limit. This does not exclude clients of either less or more income but the goal is that at least 50% of the clients are modest-means.

Sustainable

Participating attorneys will be trained and coached in good business practices that result in sustainable law practices.

ILPI is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit. Any fees collected through this site are considered undesignated donations to ILPI’s operations and are not subject to return.
